Responsibilities:

• Manage and coach the development and career paths of QA engineers
• Work with the Senior QA Manager and other QA Managers to establish training and process improvements
• Coordinate with other QA leads in ensuring staffing and resourcing needs are met
• Coordinate with QA Lead Engineers to maintain progress on current and future projects and resource needs
• Contribute to QA workflow and process improvements
• Help improve metrics reporting and project status tracking
• Work with PMs to get QA involved in projects early
• Help establish test plan and test case creation standards
• Coordinate with highly distributed team members
• Help improve QA's manual and automated test methodologies

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years as software QA Manager or Project Lead, 5+ years in software QA
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
• A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements, and project management
• Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement
• Experience collaborating with a number of executives/directors/managers in planning, delegating, executing initiatives & projects
• Knowledge of Second Life highly desirable
• Experience leading highly distributed teams a plus
