Sales Representative (Greater SF Bay Area)

Electric Cloud is looking for a software sales representative for the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will be able to show success in selling enterprise software to large development teams. The primary responsibilities of this position include organizing and executing a sound territory plan, qualifying and working multiple enterprise sales opportunities, and closing business in line with the sales quotas given to you for your region. The position requires a minimum of five years selling enterprise software products (with at least two years of outside sales). Knowledge of the software development process, experience working in a start-up, and the ability to execute on strategy will be key to the success of this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on account plans
  • Close enterprise-wide software deals with new and established customer-base
  • Target high-level accounts and utilize internal teams to set-up meetings, create demos, and pilot Electric Cloud products.

Experience:

Minimum...

  • 5 years of successfully selling software development tools/applications to enterprise companies (2 in outside sales)
  • Industry knowledge of software development market
  • Understanding of critical business drivers for software development
  • Ability to penetrate major accounts, and build long term relationships with key customers
  • Strong verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills

Desired...

  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles and software development processes preferred

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required
